Home-made chocolate mousse February 13, 2007

Is yum and easy to make.

You need:

1. 6 ounces semisweet chocolate(roughly 170 gms)

2. 2 tablespoons rum

3. 3 eggs

4. 5 tablespoons boiling water.

You need to:

1. Separate egg yolk and whites. Beat whites till stiff peaks form. Keep aside

2.Cut up chocolate into small pieces and chuck in blender. Blend for 4-6 seconds on high speed or until its a complete powder.

3. Add the 5 tablespoons boiling water in blender, and blend for 6-7 seconds.

4. Add egg yolks and rum in blender and blend for 10 seconds or until smooth mixture forms.

5. Add mixture to bowl of already beaten egg whites(pour the goop while vigorousy stirring. Stir on till smoothness arrives. Refrigerate.

heh heh, thank you 🙂 I was digging through my dadi’s many many recipe cooks and found a book written by home economics teachers. It has many easy-to-make recipes, and I’ve decided to try one every weekend. The excitement is killing me,lol. Its so much fun cooking good things to eat!
